Oh please...stop your whining kiddies.... Until you've worked full-time with a family and simultaneously attended to a night, part-time MBA program (I’m talking a real, AACSB accredited, brick-and-mortar school – not online), you have not done anything.
Been there, done that..and graduated in the top 5% of my class.
Oh yeah...now I'm off to business "Ph.D. land" where I can relax for a while - no job, full-time school...sounds easy. :o)

It's difficult to prove that "throughout the [whole] business world that Darden’s program is significantly harder than other B-Schools." However, I've come across many business professionals from the West to East coast who are aware of the Darden Boot Camp.

I have never heard that perception. Are you sure its really known throughout the business world that Darden's program is significantly harder than other B-Schools?

Bill, Its great that you wrote about this and clear some misperceptions. Also I would like to add is that workload is somewhat a function of personal prefences. Some people like to get everthing nailed down before class and work longer hours but lots of them work upto 70-80% of the case and are perfectly happy to learn the rest in class. Still others put in lesser effort in favor of other commitments. Mind you, what you get out of case method is a function of what you put in.
Thanks for bringing up this topic bill!
